The aim of the Project is to develop voluntary work in local society (Cesis) as mechanism of social inclusion within time frame from January till December, 2011. The target group of the Project are 30 young people of social risks at age 18 to 25 (including unemployed, school drop outs, young people without primary or secondary school education). Within the Project, the team of youth workers from Switzerland and professionals from Latvia will create two training programmes: „Personal development‖ and „Managment of voluntary work‖ and they will be practised with the target group of the Project. After the training, young people will have 3 months placements in three different institutions – Elderly house of Cesis, Cesis’ hospital and Cirulisu Nature Trails. There they will develop knowledge, skills and attitudes gained during Training programmes. To reflect on experience and evaluate it in the professional way, there will be also organised sessions of supervisions for young people as well as for support persons (mentors) from institutions. Results of the Project will be disseminated in the Voluntary work Forum in autumn 2011. To promote the idea and outcomes of the Project, there will be made short video film about volunteering in local level.
